EVALUATION FOR <br /> AGENCY USE ONLY <br /> d. Proposed landscaping, use of native plants, or other measures to preserve or <br /> enhance vegetation on the site, if any: <br /> The preliminary site design shows a schematic landscaping layout, a final landscape <br /> plan would be provided per EMC Section 35.100. at the time of final review and <br /> building permits. The City requires adequate landscaping on commercial sites to <br /> compliment the nelghborhood and adjacent uses. Landscaping would be planted <br /> internally and along the periphery of the site, accompanied by a 7' rockery and a 8' <br /> fence on the eastern property boundary. A 10' landscape buffer would be planted <br /> on the north, south and eastern propeny boundaries. See Figure -- Pr�liminary Site <br /> Design. <br /> 5. ANIMALS <br /> a. Circie any birds and animals which have been observed on or near the site or <br /> are known to be on or near the site: <br /> birds: hawk, heron, eagle, 54nE1�iLdS, other: <br /> mammals: deer, bear, elk, beaver, other: Sm3U ;odents <br /> fish: bass, salmon, trout, herring, shellfist�, other: <br /> b. List any threatened or endangered speeies known to be ��n or near the site. <br /> None known. <br /> c. Is the site part of a migration route? If so, explain. <br /> Unknown. <br /> d. Proposed measures to presen•e or enhance wiidlife, iP any: <br /> Due to the urban nature of the site and surrounding development, the only wiidlife <br /> existing in the area are species more tolerant of urban uses. A 50' buffer would <br /> provided around the Category III wetland. A 10' landscape buffer would be <br /> pl�vted on the north, south and eastern property boundaries as well as internal <br /> landscaping. <br /> 6. ENERGY AND NATURAL RESOURCES <br /> a. What kinds of energy (elechiq natural Sas, a7, wood stove, solar) will be used <br /> to meet the completed projed's energy needs?
