�. <br /> I. The City of Everett Building Official has found the buildings, commonly known <br /> as bathhouses, on the shorelands lying adjacent to the above described property <br /> to be in such a condition that they may endanger the life, limb, health, property, <br /> safety and welfaze of the public. The following described condiitons render the <br /> buildings dangerous pursuant to the provisions of the Uniform Code for the <br /> Abatement of Dangerous Buildings, Sec. 302. <br /> 1. The buildings aze so dilapidated, deteriorated and decayed, they aze <br /> collapsing. <br /> 2. Portions of the buildings have become dislodged and are falling into the <br /> lake. This may cause injury to persons or damage property. <br /> 3. The buildings exist in violation of specific requirements applicable to <br /> such buildings provided by the building regulations of this jurisdiction, <br /> as speci ied in the Building Code and adopted by Ordinance of this <br /> jurisdiction relafing t� the condition of buildings. <br /> 4. The buildings have bec:ome an attractive nuisance to inquisitive minors. <br /> 3. 1'he buildings are in such a condition as to consGtute a public nuisance <br /> known to the common law or in equity jurisprudence. <br /> II. The above-described buildings shall either be repaired in accordance with all <br /> � cunent Building Code requirements and all other applicable codes or <br /> demolished. <br /> III. If the owners elect to repair the buildings in accordance with the current <br /> Building Code requirements, all required permits must be secured therefore, and <br /> • the work physically wmmencecl within sixty (60) days of the date of this Order. <br /> All work must be completed within ninety (90) days of the date of this Order. <br /> IV. If the owners elect to demolish the buildings, all required permits shall be <br /> secured therefore within thirty (30) da�s of the date of this order. Such <br /> demoliUon must be completed within sixty (60) days from the date of this <br /> Order. <br /> V. Since the buildings are uninhabitable in their present condition, they shall be <br /> kept secured from unauthorized entry and remain vacant until such dme as the <br /> buildings are repaired in accordance with the current Buildir,g Code or <br /> demolished. <br /> VI. If the requirements set forth in Paragraphs III, IV, and V above are not <br /> complied with, the City of Everett will order the buildings to remain vacated <br /> and proceed to cause the buildings to be demolished and chuge the costs thereof <br /> against the pmperty and/or its owners. <br /> VIL Any person having any record tiUe or legal interest in the buildings may appeal <br /> from this Nodce and Order to the Housing Advisory and Appeals Board. Such <br /> appeal must be in writing as is required in the Uniform Code for the Abatement <br /> of Dangerous Buildings and filed with the City of Everett Building Official <br /> within thirty (30) days from the date of service of this Notice and Order. <br />
