ADG-11-88 10,2e PROM,EVERETT PLANNING DEPT ID•4252578742 PACE 1/2
Z Zvi 26
Memo
Tag Tom Thetford, r' jbhc Works \
Flare Lit Greenhe';::n, Planning Department i , •,t
Dnbw August 1',190E
Rat 12306:-othellEverett Fiwy/Sewer A=mUwouf'tl'Vetiand
Per your request, I visited the wetland located at 12306 Jothd Everett Highway on August
10, 19W. The purpose of my field visit was to locate a route fora sewer access Una with a
wetland on site..
The following are rty observations and recommendations:
Thera is a culvert entering the walla-1 from the western sloe of the highway which
supplies water to the site. The area arouno .tie culvert was dry at tl K tine of the site visit but
water was observed Awther south along the driveway entering the proFwty on the eastern
edge.
The wetland is highly vegetated with many tall evergreen teas. These trees are over 60
feet tag and are dispersed through out the wetland and along the northern property One.
There are several very tall willow, trees alorxi the eastern edge of the wetland along On
highway.
There were several wetland delineation Hags withir the actual wetland, so there
probably has been a ddroaflon done recently for this wed and.
The u:ast impact to the wetland for the sewer access would be along the driveway
which already has been OW.
A second alternative to the driveway access would be access on the northern property
fine if the tell evergreen trees were not disturbed or cut and the root structure of these bees
would not be compromised. This cotid be done with underground boring.
Any disc rbance to the wetland or the buffer area would have to be replaced or
mitigated. Staging areas for boring or other construction activity wnuid need to be replanted
and restored. The smallest equipment needed to complete the job should be used.
Nothing shad be done to alter the hydrology of this wetland.
a Pogo I
