Additional revisions, or additions, may be <br /> required by other departments (such as Utilities, Planning or Fire). All references refer to the <br /> 2006 International Building Code, as amended by the State of Washington and adopted by the <br /> Ciry of Everett and the Washington State Energy Code, 2006 Edition, unless stated otherwise. <br /> In order for U�e processing of your application to continue, it will be necessary to provide <br /> ihe 13uilding Division �ti�ith hvo.complete new sets of drawings reflecting the corrections <br /> requested. <br /> 1. 1'he plans should indicate ihc requirement for a fire suppression system in accordance <br /> with Chapter 16.76 of the Gverett Mur.icipal Code. <br /> 2. The plans should indicate the requirement for an automatic fire detection system in <br /> accordance with Chapter 16.76 of the E��erett Municipal Code. <br /> 3. �verett Ciry Ordinance requires the elevator to be sized to accommodate a 24 inch by <br /> 84 inch ambulance stretcher in the horizontal, open position and identified by the <br /> internatic�nal symbol for emergency medical services (Star of Life). The symbol shall <br /> not be less than 3 inches high and shall be placed inside on both sides of the hoist way <br /> door Crame. <br /> 4. The elevator machine room is required to be enclosed by a one-hour fire barrier. The <br /> door is also required to be one-hour IBC 3006.4. <br /> 5. II3C 1020.1 requires both stairnays to be protected by exit enclosures. <br /> 6. 1BC 1024.1 requires that at least 50 percent of exits discharge direcdy to the outside of <br /> the building. Please note that Section lOQ2 defines "floor area gross" as "useable area <br /> under thc horizontal projection of the roof or floor above."
