14. Standpipe systems shall comply with NFPA 1•4. <br /> See Section 905.3.1 of the 2003 International Fire Code to detemiine the requirement <br /> for standpipes. <br /> 15. Construction and demolition of buildings shall be in compli�nce with the provisions of <br /> the 2003 International Fire Code, Chapter 14. <br /> 16. Permits are required from the Fire Department for removal and installation of <br /> underground fuel tanks. <br /> 17. Abandoned tanks shall be pumped out and the fuel prcperly disposed of prior to <br /> removal. No product or rinse water may be disposed of in such a way that it could enter <br /> the storm drains system. <br /> 18. All fire alarm control panels (FACP) and sprinkler valves shall be in heated rooms or <br /> closets with standard man door access. Locations shall be approved by the Fire <br /> Marshal's Office. <br /> If the man door access is not directly from the eutside, then a PIV is required. An FDC <br /> is required, location to be determined by the Fire Marshal.
