(Riley) has perl'otaned a geotcchnical em inccring study for the
above referenced prgjcct. Riley understands that the client is planning to build a fueling facility to
the east of the existing Fred Mcycr building. 'IhL. atutchcd report presents atu' findings and
recommendations for the geotcchnical aspects anticipated for the project design and construction.
Our field exploration indicates that the site is genetally underlain by np to 4 feet of fill overlying
dense to very dense silty SAND with gravel (glacial till). 'I'hc GII consists of dense silty sandy
GRAVEL. Groundwater seepage was encountered in the test boring 13-1 at 4 feet below ground
surface during our subsurface investigation. Based on the soil conditions observed, Riley concludes
that the proposed fueling facility (canopy and kiosk) can be supported on slab -on -grade bearing on
existing fill or native soil. Pavement can be similarly supported.
This report provides our geolechnical findings and recommendations for the project. Thcse
recommendations should be incorporated into project design and construction.
We trust the information presented is sutTicicni for your current needs.
