In addition, we will be unable to give Final approval to the Building permit until we have <br />received copies of Special Inspections Reports. The Unuorm Building Code provides that all <br />permits expire by limitation if the work authorized by the permit is suspended or abandoned at any <br />time after work is commenced for a period of 180 days. If you wish to prevent the permits from <br />expiring without documentation of completion, you may: <br />1) Request inspections of work that has occurred, to document continuing Progress; <br />or 2) Request final inspections of the work that is completed, <br />or 3) Submit a written request for a 180 day extension. <br />Please respond within 10 days. After that time the file will be sent to our Records Department for <br />microfilming without final approval.
