W stewater from project activities and water removed from within
the work area shall be routed to an a;ea landward of the ordinary
high water line to allow removal of fine sediment and other
contaminants prior to being discharged to the stream.
S. Erosion control methods shall be used to prevent silt -laden water
from entering the stream. These may include but are not limited
9o, straw bales, fil>rer fabric, temporary sediment ponds, c eck
ms of pea ravel-ffilled bu lap bags or other material, an /or
immediate mulching of exposed areas.
6. All waste material su=h as construction debris silt, excess dirt,
r ooverburden resuitin from this project, shall be deposited above
the limits of flood water in an approved upland disposal site.
7. If high flow conditions that may cause s}ltation are encountered
during this project, work shall stop until the flow subsides.
S. treme care shall be taken to ensure that no petroleum products,
h draulic fluid, fresh cement, sediments, sediment -laden water,
c emicals, or any other toxic or deleterious materials are allowed
to enter or leach into the stream.
9. A wetland biologist shall supervise the construction of the
wetland mitigation site and monitor erosion control during the
cons ruction of the mitigation site and the Home Base site.
10. literation or disturbance of the bank and bank vegetation shall be
mit d to that necessary to construct th project. Withi seven
calendar days of project gompletion, all gisturbed areas Nall be
protected gram erosion using vegetation or other means. Wit
one year of project completion, the banks shall be revs stated as
shown in the mi igation plan and maintain as necessary for five
years to ensure 80 parcent survival.
HOME BASE SITE: No fish present at this site; downstream water quality
is the major concern.
11. A positive separation shall be maintained between the work area
an 3 the stream at all times. This may require the use of a sheet
pile enclosure a,- similar cofferdam.
12. The stream bank at the point of discharge shall be armored to
prevent scouring.
f6Y 1Y/16M
