The site is located on the northwest comer of 19th Avenue SE (Highway 527), and 100th <br />Street SE in the city of Everett, as shown on the Vicinity Map in Figure 1. You have retained us to <br />perform a geotechnical engineering study to evaluate the site for the proposed'structure and parking <br />areas. We have been provided a copy of a topographic survey dated October 22, 1996, by Barghausen <br />Consulting Engineers, Inc., and a preliminary grading, storm drainage and water quality treatment plan <br />with the proposed location of the building, dated February 28, 1997, by Barghausen Consulting <br />Engineers, Inc. <br />The preliminary design shows the building footprint area toward the west end of the lot, as shown on the <br />Site Plan in Figure 2. The site will be accessed from 19th Avenue SE on the northeast comer of the site <br />and from 100th Street SE on the mid-southem portion of the site. We understand the building will be <br />slab -on -grade construction and have a rain floor finished elevation of approximately 570.3 feet (Project <br />Datum). Estimated wall and column loads were not available at the time of this report. Retaining walls, <br />up to 25 feet high, are proposed for the northwest comer of the building and along the on -site storm <br />water detention pond, in the southwest portion of the site.
