The Health District operating permit application process must be completed prior to opening for <br />business. <br />2. An additional handwash sink is required. The best location would be as near as possible to the fryer/grill <br />area. The additional nandsink added is satisfactory only for the drive through area due to inaccessibility <br />to grill/fryer area. <br />3. A food preparation sink is required. The sink must be listed by the National Sanitation Foundation <br />(NSF), and have at least one integral drainboard. <br />4. Water heaters must be of sufficient size to provide hot water to dishwasher and/or scullery sinks and at the <br />same time provide hot water to all handwash sinks. <br />5. Extra wall protection is required on walls behind sinks and food preparation tables. A 16 inch high <br />backsplash of plastic laminate, fiberglass reinforced plastic or equal is acceptable. Floor to ceiling <br />protection is required on wall behind dishwashers. Plastic coated hardboard is not acceptable. <br />A preoperational inspection is required prior to opening for business. At the time of inspection the <br />construction of the food service establishment must be complete and all equipment must be in place. <br />Incomplete construction may result in a $62.00 reinspection fee. Please contact the Food Program office at <br />least one week in advance to schedule an appointment. This will ensure compliance with the Rules and <br />Regulations of the State Board of Health for Food Service SiniraNnn <br />If there are any significant changes or additions to your layout or equipment, the Snohomish Health District <br />must be notified. <br />Please contact me if you have any questions.
