Avemie
005 Everett, WA 98201
006
G06 RE: Fred Dickie, Alteration of A11ey Gra3e Between Lots 11 and 12,
007 Block One, Norman Addition to Everett
006
008 Dear Sir:
009
009 A search of our recorda does not revaal that the grade of this alley was
/-i:.;/d iY,'`'
%/
O10 ever established. The records contain no information whatsoever concerning
O11 grades.
012
)12 We haVe made several inspectioas concerning this matter and ae cannot agree
013 that the lowerin9 of the alley 9rade caused the flooding of your client's
014 garage. The grade was lowered approximately twelve inches, which puts the
O15 alley well ]elow the garage floor level. If there is any floodin9, it rould
016 only be caused by subsurface seepage of water.
017
017 We feel that the regr.ading and gravel resurfacin9 of the alley is an improve-
018 ment. The City does not try to discourage imrovements as long as they are
019 done to accepted standards and with appropriate permits.
020
020 Sincerely,
021
021
021
021 Lloyd E.
