GENERAL CONDITIONS FOR WASHINGTON STATE FACILITY CONSTRUCTION with any rights of Owner, retain all common law, statutory, and other reserved rights, in addition to the copyright. All copies of these documents, excep. Ccatractoes set, shall be returned or suitably accounted for to A/E, on r.quest, upon completion of the Work. B. The Drawings, Specifications, and other documents prepared by the A/E, and copies thereof furnished to Contractor, are for use solely with respect to this Project. Tbey are not to be used by Contractor or any Subcontractor on other projects or for additions to this Project outside the scope of the Work without the spec written consent of Owner and A/E. Contractor and Subcontractors are granted a limited license to use and reproduce applicable portions of the Drawings, Specifications, and other documents prepared by A/E appropriate to and for use in the execution of their Work. C. Contractor and all Subcontractors grant a non- exclusive license to Owner, without additional cost or royalty, to use for its own purposes (including reproduction) all Shop Drawings, together with the information and diagrams contained therein, prepared by Contractor or any Subcontractor. In providing Shnp Drawings, Contractor and all Subcontractors warrant that they have authority to grant to Owner a license to use the Shop Drawings, and that such license is not in violation of any copyright or other intellectual property right. Contractor agrees to defend and indemnify Owner pursuant to the indemnity provisions in sit tioo 5.23 from any violations of copyright or other intellectual property rights arising out of Owner's use of the Shop Drawings hereunder, or to secure for Owner, at Contractor's own cost, licenses in conformity with this section. D. The Shop Drawings and other submittals prepared by Contractor, Subcontractors, or its or their equipment or material suppliers, and copies thereof furnished to Contractor, are for use solely with respect to this Project. They are not to be used by Contractor or any Subcontractor on other projects or for additions to this Project outside the scope of the Work without the specific written July 1, 1992 00700 - page 13 Part 4 consent of Owner. The Contractor, Sub- contractors of any tier, and material or equipment suppliers are granted a limited license to use and reproduce applicable portions of the Shop Drawings and other submittals appropriate to and for use in the execution of their Work under the Contract Documents.
