(continued) <br />NOTICE OF UNSAFE BUILDINGS) <br />duthorized representative shall request the Everett City Council to <br />order you and each of you prosecuted as a violator or the provisions <br />of the City of Everett Building Code and shall further request the <br />Everett City Council to order the City of Everett Building Official <br />to proceed with the work specified in this notice. <br />Section 7: Violators of any of the provisions of the City of Everett <br />Building Code shall be guilty of a misdemeanor and each such violator <br />shall be deemed guilty of a separate offense for each and every day, <br />or portion thereof, during which any violation of any of the provisions <br />of said building code is committed, continued, or permitted, and upon <br />conviction of any such violation such violator shall be punishable by <br />fine of not more than $300.00 or by imprisonment for:not more than <br />90 days or by both such fine and impri.sonment. <br />Section 8:. If the work specified in this notice is performed by the <br />City of Everett Building Official the costs of srid work shall be <br />charged to the owner(s) or parties in interest of the real property <br />on which said building(s), or structure(s), or portion(s) thereof <br />is (are) located and unless such costs have been previously paid by <br />said owner(s) or parties in interest- such costs shall be levied and <br />collected as a special assessment against said real property. <br />Section 9: This notice and official action is pursuant to and in <br />accordance with the City of Everett Building Code, Chapter 2.12 <br />Everett City Code adopting the Uniform Housing Code, 1970 Edition <br />prepared by the International Conference of Building Officials. <br />Copies of said code are available for public inspection in the office <br />of the City Clerk, Everett City Hall, Everett, Washington. <br />
