EVERETT, WASNINCTON .. _ Inspections were made this date of the buildings located at 3309 Oakes and 1711 - 21st Street. Both are in similar condition - dilapidated, deteriorated and vandalized to the point that it is questionable if they are worth repairing to meet minimum housing standards. Both are open and accessible to vandalism which includes the setting of fire. An attempt was made to set fire in 1711 - 21st Street. A vehicle was gutted by fire the night of June 22, 1976. This vehicle was parked in front of 1711 - 21st Street,. It would seem to be the responsibility of the owners of these properties to at least secure them to the point that vandalism and the setting of fire would be less than inviting.
