CITY QF EVERETT <br />BOARD OF ADJUSTMENT <br />Minutes - October 5, 1981 <br />The regular meeting of the City of Everett Board of Adjustment was held <br />at 7:00 p.m. in the City Hall Council Chambers. Mr. Russell presided; <br />Mr. Wilson, Mr. Eckstrom and Mr. Zook were present. Mr. Hoagland was <br />absent. <br />Mr. Russell introduced the members of the Board to the audience. <br />Because of the complexities involved, the Chairman chose to move Item I <br />under old business (Monte Cristo Hotel) to the last item on the agenda. <br />A hearing was held on the application of �ohn Rusch, 2819 - 21st Street, <br />Everett, Washington 98201, for a variance from Section 19.16.050 of the <br />Everett Municipal Code, Yard Requirements, Paragraph B, for per�ission to <br />cons*ruct a second story to an existing garage for the purpose of a storage <br />area and be able to build to the east side property line rather than the <br />code setback requirement of five (5) feet. <br />Legal Description: Lots 11 & 12, dlock 10, keady Land Co.'s lst Add. <br />Address: 2819 - 21st Street <br />Zoning: R-2 Single-Family High-Density Residence ' <br />Mr. Rusch represented himself and had nothing further to add to his aoplication. <br />There was no comment from the audience. <br />After visually viewing the subject property and considering all the facts, it <br />was moved by Mr. Eckstrom, seconded by Mr. Wilson ari� unanimously carried to <br />grant the variance as it meets all the requirements of Section 19.70.060 of <br />the Everett Municipal Code, Paragraphs 1, 2, 3, and 4. <br />A hearing was held on the application of Curtis Cainpbell, 1924 Hoyt Avenue, <br />Everett, Washington 98201, for a variance from Section 19.18.040 of the Everett <br />Municipal Code, Yard Requirements, Parag�aph C, for permission to construct a <br />garage and attach it to the existing residence and be able to build to within <br />seventeen (17) feet of the rear property line rather than the code requirement <br />of twenty (20) feet. <br />Legal Description: Lots 20 & 21, Block 377, Plat of Everett Div.
