� <br />HOUSING CODE INSPECTION REPORT <br />/ <br />FROM: MARIAN DFNT, CIT i OF EVERETT, HOJSING INSPECTOR '"� <br />DATE: APRIL 24, 1995 <br />SUBJ: 2902 21st St., EVERETT, WA <br />Upon receiving a complaint from the tenant regarding the conditions of this residence, <br />an inspection was conducted and the following deficiencies were noted pursuant to the <br />Uniform Flousing Codes: <br />The shower enclosure is not instailed pursuant to code and this allows <br />water to get between the wall and the shower enclosure. <br />2. 'There is galvanized piping used in the water supply to the building. This <br />piping is very corroded and shows signs of deterioration. Portions of the <br />gaivanized pipe have been replaced with copper pipe however, it is <br />recommended that all water supply pipe be replace with copper pipe. <br />1'he elecuical supply to the hot water tank is not enclosed in conduit. <br />4. The tenant cemplains of there being no water pressure. <br />5. The tenant complains of the electrical service shorting out. <br />6. The electrical wiring servicing the garage, and the wiring in the garage <br />were all illegally installed and are considered dangerous. <br />The wiring on the utiliry porch is illegally strung through the wall for <br />s;rving the kitchen the refrigerator and is not code accepted. <br />8. The rain gutters are falling off the house and may fall and endanger the <br />safety and welfaze of the public or the occupants. <br />9. There is a lack of protection from the elements for some portions of the <br />eaterior wood on the house. <br />
