These comments address building issues only. Additional revisions or additions may be required by other departments (such as Utilities, Planning or Fire). All references refer to the 2003 International Residential Code, as amended by the State of Washington and/or Washington State Energy Code 2004 Edition, and adopted by the City of Everett, unless stated otherwise. In order for the processing of your application to continue, it will be necessary to provide the Building Division with two complete new sets of drawings reflecting the corrections requested. 1. Provide detail(s) showing how loads from the roof are transferred to existing 12" diameter columns. 2. The floor plan does not match the site plan please clarify. 3. Show how cone at vehicle entrance is supported between 12" colunuts. 4. Provide 3" x 3" x 1/a" plate washer on all anchor bolts in braced wall lines. 5. Prescriptive compliance for braced wall panels requires a continuous footing with anchor bolts within 12" of each end of each sill plate. Anchor bolts shall be minimum of 7" embedment. 6. Show appliance protection in garage. As located, the appliances would require 2 bollards. 7. Provide design for roof rafters and connection at ridge prepared by a li.:ensed ishington State Structural Engineer. Also specify connection of rafters to plate at r( ,f p +meter.
