We find the submitted eposy bindin� adhesive technical data shows <br /> the product to be an acceptable substitution for the specified Concresive Paste LPL epoxy <br /> material. As you know, this epoxy bin�ing adhesive is to be used for adhereing antenna <br /> mounting frames directly to the sides of the subject project water tank steel wall. <br /> As seen �vithin the Performance Data section for the proposed SPL (Short Pot Life), the <br /> Tensile strength, Compressive Yield strength, and Bond strength exceed the specified <br /> LPL(Long Pot Life) product performance data. [n adciition, we note that the SPL product <br /> application temperature range is from 25 de,ees F to 70 de��ees F, which is a more <br /> suitable application temperature range for the anticipate.j winter month installation <br /> period oPthe subject project antenna mount frames. <br /> Note that this, as „�ith all epoxy binding adhesive products, should be installed in s[rict <br /> accordance �vith the manufacturers instructions. Surface preparation is essential for good <br /> product pe�°ormance, and as indicated �vithin the SPL product data, stcel surfaces require <br /> removal of ill dirt, grease, and oil materials, followed by girtblasting to a near white <br /> metal. "fhis preparation �vould be required both on the proposed steel tank surfaces, and <br /> the antenna support frame base plates.
