These comments address building issues only, additional revisions or additions may be required by other departments (such as Utilities, Planning or Fire). All references refer to the 1991 Uniform Building Code, as amended by the State of Washington and/or Wasnington State Energy Code 1991, 2nd Edition, unless stated otherwise. 1. The existing building is classified as a Type II-N sprinklered building. Wood is not allowed within Type II-N construction. Sec 1901. 2. The exit door from the addition must be 3'-0"x6'-8" minimum. Sec. 3304(f). 3. Provisions for roof drainage are required. Sec. 3207. In order for the processing of your application to continue, it will be necessary to provide the Building Division with two complete new sets of drawings reflecting the corrections requested. Upon resubmittal of the drawings, your application will be given priority and plan review will recommence.
