• h <br /> d <br /> All properties benefiting from public sanitary sewers constructed <br /> with LID or city funds shall pay pro rata shares of the cost of the sewers. <br /> (For single-family residences existing at the time of sewer construction, <br /> the pro rata shares of cost shall be the $4,000 City payments and,any <br /> amount in excess thereof.) In instances in which public sanitary sewers <br /> are constructed using LID financing, the benefiting properties' pro rata <br /> shares of cost for the sewers shall be paid by means of LID assessments. <br /> In the small, residential areas where public sanitary sewers are <br /> constructed by the City without LID financing, the pro rata shares of cost <br /> for the sewers shall be paid by means of an additional connection charge, <br /> as established by the Public Works Director, for each connection to the <br /> sewers. The amount of the connection charge shall be based on the <br /> City's total cost of constructing the sewers and the City's estimate of the <br /> number of possible connections to the subject sewers. This connection <br /> charge shall be in addition to all other applicable connection charges. <br /> Is hereby amended to read: <br /> Section 3: An additional surcharge of$13.32 per month shall be <br /> charged to the single-family residential or business or other City Water <br /> Utility customer properties receiving the $4,000 sewer construction <br /> payments as provided in Section 1 above, commending with connection to <br /> the Everett sewer system or pursuant to Ordinance No. 1164-85 (EMC <br /> 14.08.250) or as such may be amended. This surcharge shall be in <br /> addition to all other rates and fees charged to these customers. <br /> All-properties benefiting from public sanitary sewers constructed <br /> with LID or city funds shall pay pro rata shares of the cost of the sewers. <br /> (For single-family residences or businesses or other City Water Utility <br /> customers on septic systems existing at the time of sewer construction, <br /> the pro rata shares of cost shall be the $4,000 City payments and any <br /> amount in excess thereof.) In instances in which public sanitary sewers <br /> are constructed using LID financing, the benefiting properties' pro rata <br /> shares of cost for the sewers shall be paid by means of LID assessments. <br /> In the small, isolated areas where public sanitary sewersare constructed <br /> by the City without LID financing, the pro rata shares of cost for the <br /> sewers shall be paid by means of an additional connection charge, as <br /> established by the Public Works Director, for each connection to the <br /> sewers. The amount of the connection charge shall be based on the <br /> City's total cost of constructing the sewers and the City's estimate of the <br /> number of possible connections to the subject sewers.
