This request is to approve the scope and budget for the Gateway Plan. The plan will be coordinated with all involved city departments, and follow the Urban Design Element of the City's Comprehensive Plan. Eight specific locations that move traffic into the city, across the city, or entry points into designated neighborhoods,where gateways would be appropriate will be evaluated for entry gateway features. RECOMMENDATION (Exact action requested of Council): Authorize the Mayor to sign a Professional Services Agreement with Otak for Gateway plan in an amount not to exceed$75,000.
