These <br /> vehicles are available from a competitively bid Washington State contract that has been extended to <br /> 10/31/2008. We will purchase at the 2008 pricing for delivery in 2009. The City has an interlocal <br /> cooperative purchasing agreement with the state that allows us to make purchases from their competitively <br /> awarded contracts in lieu of soliciting bids on our own. <br /> This purchase will replace fourteen 1999-2003 vehicles & one totaled 2008 vehicle per the approved 2009 <br /> Approved Replacement List. Replaced vehicles will be surplused when replacements are put into service. <br /> RECOMMENDATION (Exact action requested of Council): <br /> Approve the Purchase of Police Vehicles from State Contract 04406 in the amount of$370,034.75 including <br /> Washington State Sales Tax. 10 <br />
