Amount Budgeted Expenditure Required Account Number(s): Budget Remaining , Additional Required DETAILED SUMMARY STATEMENT: On December 17, 2003, Council approved a license agreement with Sound Transit regarding the use of the driver's break room at Everett Station. Amendment#3 to extend the contract to October 31, 2008 was approved by Council on October 3, 2007. Sound Transit pays the City of Everett$500 per month in exchange for allowing Burlington Northern train crews, operating the Sounder train, access to the break room. Sound Transit and the City of Everett are satisfied with the outcomes of the current agreement. Sound Transit has requested an extension of the agreement through October 31, 2008, and thereafter continue renting on a month-to-month basis until such time as Sound Transit's permanent facility for train crews at Everett Station is completed. RECOMMENDATION Authorize the Mayor to sign the Fourth Amendment to the License Agreement for Use of the Driver's Break Room at Everett Station.
