The Uniform Building Code <br /> provides that all permits expire by limitation if the work authorized by the permit is <br /> suspended or abandoned at any time after work is commenced for a period of 180 days. If <br /> you wish Co prevent the permits from expiring wichou� documentation of completion, you <br /> may: <br /> 1) Request inspections of work t6.at has occurred, to document continuing progress, <br /> or 2) Requesx final inspections of the work that is completed, <br /> or 3) Submit a written request for a 180 day extension. <br /> Please respond before June 1", 1999.
