EXHIBIT B <br /> 11 <br /> COMPENSATION <br /> n ALTERNATE A [HOURLY RATE UP TO A MAXIMUM AMOUNT] <br /> The City shall pay the Service Provider a sum equal to the amount of hours actually worked <br /> multiplied by the rate identified herein for the staff performing the Work, subject to the <br /> maximum stated in¶4(D) of this Agreement. <br /> Name Responsibility Rate <br /> (l ALTERNATE B [LUMP SUM] <br /> The City shall pay the Service Provider such amounts and in such manner as follows: <br /> Fee for service shall be percent %of the base registration fees collected by the City. <br /> Additional fees and/or surcharges levied by the City will be retained 100% by the City. <br /> Payments shall be made as stated in Exhibit A—Scope of Work. The base registration fee is <br /> listed in Exhibit A—Scope of Work. Compensation shall not exceed number of dollars <br /> ($ ). <br /> ALTERNATE C [PROPOSAL SCHEDULE] <br /> The City shall pay the Service Provider such amounts and in such manner as follows: <br /> 1. Fees for services for Sewer System Flow Monitoring Services 2008-2009 shall not <br /> exceed$130,300 and shall be itemized in accordance with the tasks defined by the scope <br /> of work and proposal forms. See attached Exhibit B-1. <br /> 2. Compensation for services provided for Sewer System Flow Monitoring Services 2009- <br /> 2010 in the amount of$159,575 requires advance authorization from the City. <br /> 3. Invoice statements shall be itemized sufficiently to differentiate time-based costs such as <br /> equipment rental and data management services from labor and other costs. Retail sales <br /> tax of 8.6%shall be added to equipment rental charges. <br /> 4. Compensation for equipment rental costs and data management services shall be made <br /> only upon verification of minimum 95%data population delivery. If requested by the <br /> City,data population deficiencies shall be satisfied by extending the install and <br /> monitoring period for a comparable duration at no additional cost to the City. <br /> 5. Payments may be adjusted due to additions or deletions requested by the City, in <br /> accordance with the unit prices for specific cost elements provided on the proposal forms. <br /> 6. Compensation shall not exceed the total amounts shown in the proposal forms(Exhibit <br /> J 3 B-1)without prior authorization. <br /> Page 11 of 12 <br />
