The Uniform Building Code provides thac all permits expire by limitasion if the <br /> work authoriud by the permit is suspended or abandoned at any time after work is <br /> commenced for a period of 180 days. If you wish tu prevent the permiu from expiring <br /> without do��imentation of completion, you may: <br /> 1) Request inspections of work that has occurred, to document continuing progress, <br /> or 2) Request final inspections of the work that is completed, <br /> or 3) Submit a written request for a 180 day extension. <br /> Please respond within 10 days. After that time the file wiil be sent to our Records <br /> Department for microfilming without final app;oval.
