NSA's Tournament Director must work with the City to schedule maintenance breaks throughout the day. 4. NSA shall not allow any players on an infield while the City prepares or maintains the field. The Tournament Director is responsible for assisting field maintenance personnel if a problem arises with a team during the Tournament. 5. The City will prepare and maintain facilities at the fields. Preparation and maintenance of facilities will include: a. Clean rest rooms as needed b. Empty garbage cans when full or as needed c. Pick up litter and trash around grounds as needed C. FENCING The City of Everett Parks and Recreation Department will provide all the portable field fencing necessary to modify the Kasch Park 1-4 fields. This will include all maintenance, set-up, construction and take down of all portable field fencing. 4. BANNERS AND SIGNS A. NSA and participating teams may install Tournament and sponsor banners on outfield fences, in accordance with the City's sign ordinance, Everett city Municipal Code, Chapter 36. The City reserves the right to approve such banners and signs, which approval shall not be unreasonably withheld. B. The number of banners is limited as follows: 1. Kasch Park cloverleaf entrance fence: 2 banners 2. Kasch Park cloverleaf building: 4 banners 3. Kasch Park fields: 2 banners per field 4. Kasch Park dug-outs 1 banner per dug-out 5. Phil Johnson Ballfields: 2 banners per field C. Banners must be fixed to areas where they do not block vision for the spectators, create a hazard, or detract from the Park. Park staff will remove banners the City reasonably deems inappropriate. Banners must be removed at the end of the Tournament by NSA. City will not be responsible for lost, stolen or vandalized banners and signs. ii - 3 -
