These comments <br />address building issues only, additional revisions or additions may be required by other departments <br />(such as Utilities, Planning or Fire). All references refer to the 1994 Uniform Building Code, as <br />amended by the State of Washington and/or Washington State Energy Code 1995 Edition, unless stated <br />otherwise. <br />In order for the processing of your application to continue, it will be necessary to <br />provide the Building Division with two complete new sets of drawings reflecting <br />the corrections requested. <br />1. Buildings shall be provided with interior and exterior braced wall lines. Spacing shall not exceed <br />34 feet on center in both the longitudinal and transverse directions in each story. (2326.4.1 UBC) <br />2. All braced wall panels shall be clearly marked on the plans. (2326.11.3 UBC) <br />3. Provide roof framing plan reflecting changes made to floor plan. Show all special trusses i.e., hip <br />master truss, girder truss, etc., ... and if applicable show any stick framing. Specify size, species <br />and grade, and spacing of rafters and/or ceiling joists. <br />4. Revise dimensions on floor plan to show alternate braced wall panel (ABWP) at bay window. <br />Change all dimensions affected by placement of the ABWP. <br />5. Specify angle of garage on floor plan and foundation plan. Show dimensions of all interior <br />partitions and exterior walls. <br />Provide minimum 36' landing nor more than 8" below the finished floor at sliding glass door in <br />family room. <br />Show all footings on foundation plan. Provide footing under ends of 4x10 beam in crawl space. <br />Provide continuous footing under opening for overhead garage door. Remove footing and stem <br />wall between living room -kitchen and family room (if it is not going to be built.
