With the addition of the following items, the plans are <br />approved. <br />lJ A hardwashing sink is required in the ware washing area. At the corner of the walk-in refrigerator opposite <br />the hot water heater would be acceptable. <br />l> A back flow prevention device is needed for the mop sink faucet. <br />3. Floors to be quarry tile or 12" x 12" pavers; ceiling to be smooth, vinyl covered drop -in tile; walls to be <br />gypsum painted with gloss or semigloss gloss enamel except at the dishwashing station where plastic <br />laminate or fiberglass reinforced polyester panels will be installed floor to ceiling. <br />4. Outside garbage storage Is to be on a paved surface. <br />5. Vents for bathrooms must be exhausted to the outside. <br />Install a water tap to fill glasses at the front waitress station. <br />I recommend that handwashing sinks be supplied with foot, knee or elbow activated controls. <br />If there are any significant changes or additions to your layout or equipment, the Snohomish Health District must <br />be notified. <br />A pre -operational inspection is required prior to opening for business. Please contact the Food Program office <br />about one week in advance to schedule an appointment. This will insure compliance with the Rules and <br />Regulations of the State Board of Health for Food Service Sani tion-(WAC,248-@4� <br />Please contact me if you have any questions.
