EVALUATIO_NS There is some decay in local areas of the roof ttusses as a result of a history of poor attic ventilation and roof leakage. I Tecommend that the trusses be restored by removing all of the decayed material. The top cord of the truss can then have a 2x8, sistered along side of the exisHng truss. The new member must span from one support to tbe next with no splices. It shall also be well nailecl to each member that it intetsects. i also noted come decay in the ledger that suppozts the trusses. All decayed materiat must be removed and replaced as needed.
