Dispatch advised <br />complainant Michae! Ward called saying a license piate was found were a fire Eiydranl had been hit. I contacted <br />Ward, who is Supervisor 1 with Utilities. Ward said they received a complaint of a fire hydrant laying on its side at <br />9915 7`� Ave SE. He sa(d when they checked, they found a hydrant knocked ofi of iYs base and the license plate <br />�i806848B. Ward turned the front license plate over to me. The plate was scraped up on the right side. It had <br />yellow paint transfers on it that looked the correct color to be from a hydrant. i asked Ward if he coliected the plate. <br />He said no, that Tom Kelso had gone out to check the scene, and brought the plate back to the office with him. He <br />said Kelso was back out on the scene. <br />Since the collision scene and the wilness were south, I asked if there was a soulh officer available to take the hit <br />and run report. Dispatch advised Officer Summerville was available to respond. I spoke to Ufficer Summerville on <br />the radio to advise him of what I had, a�d sent him the license plate return.
