May 27, 2015 <br />Allen Giffen, Planning, stated that this is a request initiated by the <br />Washington State Department of Transportation to amend the Zoning <br />Code, specifically the B-2 zone, to allow for maintenance facilities for <br />public transportation agencies. <br />Council President Bader invited public comment. There was no response. <br />Moved by Council Member Roberts, seconded by Council Member <br />Moore, to close the public hearing. <br />Roll was called with all council members voting yes except Council <br />Member Stonecipher who was excused. <br />Motion carried. <br />COUNCIL BILL NO. 1505-14 <br />THIRD AND FINAL READING: <br />AN ORDINANCE amending the Zoning Code to allow storage <br />and maintenance facilities for public transportation agencies <br />as a Special Property Use in the B-2 (Community Business) <br />zone, amending Section 4 of Ordinance No. 1671-89 and <br />Section 36 of Ordinance No. 2397-99, as amended (EMC Title <br />19, Zoning) <br />Moved by Council Member Roberts, seconded by Council Member Tuohy, <br />that this is declared to be the third and final reading of Council Bill No. <br />1505-14 and the City Clerk is directed to call the roll for the final <br />disposition of the ordinance. <br />AYES: Roberts, Moore, Murphy, Gipson, Bader, Tuohy <br />NAYS: None <br />EXCUSED: Stonecipher <br />Ordinance No. 3439-15 adopted. <br />156 <br />
