I <br />was asked by 'ir. Lrickson, since tiiere �vas plur.v�inq involvec�, <br />to go to this address and talk to the o�rmer regarding permits <br />and other requirements. I went to the house and talked to Iirs• <br />;IcIntosii. I took a copy of the Swimming Pool Ordinaalsoaati:empted <br />plained the part of it to her regatdi.ng permits• <br />to explain the plumbing requirements to her. Since she did not <br />fully understand, I asked her t.o have her liusband stoU by th� <br />Of£ice and I r�uuld e�lain it to him. I gave Mrs •%4cIntosh the <br />f the Pool Ordinance and left. <br />copy o <br />On April 23, 1971 P!r. i•7cIntosh came to the Office to inquire of <br />the plumbing requirenents. I took out the Plumbing Code and went <br />over ApPendix G, the seciion covering pools, wi th hi.m. After <br />telling him that the waste f•rom tlie pool �•rould l�ave to be disnose3 of <br />as �equired by Code, he k.�ecame angry and said it would cost too <br />much. I told him this was the necal� adoPted ordinance aid he <br />would have to comoly the sanr as other people. tie insisted he <br />would not, that he just wouldn't build it. I told him that other <br />pools going in now were given the sa�e rnquirements. iie said <br />there �iere at least 15 other pools in t11e area that did not <br />meet these requirements.
