PLANNING DIRECTOR CERTIFICATION <br />NON-CONFORMING USE #03-003 <br />Applicant: Everett Housing Authority, P.O. Box 1547, Everett, WA 98206 <br />Description of propertv structure(s) and parcei(s) being certified: <br />Site Address: 2720 — 7'" Street <br />Legai Description: Grand View Homes Blk 001 Blocks 1-7 <br />Tax Identification Number: 00459200100000 <br />Zoning: R-4 Multipie Family High Density <br />Description of Non-conformities: The siie is developed with Grand View Homes, <br />which is overseen by the Everett Housing Authority. The subject structure is a support <br />services building used for vari�us activities by the development. According to <br />Snohomish County Assessor's records, and as-builts of the site, the subject building was <br />constructed prior to December 1, 1956 as a use other than residential. <br />Tfie building has housed many uses since it was constructed. These activities include <br />general office, recreation center, storage, and ciothing/small appliance distribution. All of <br />these activities have directly supporied the residents of Grand View Homes; therefore <br />the structure shall be considered a support services building for the site. The use of the <br />building must remain as a direct support for Grand View Homes, and shall be similar in <br />nature to the previous uses as outlined above. No commercial activity is permitted on <br />site. <br />The structure was damaged by fire on September 18, 2002. A complete building permit <br />application must be filed with the City within one year of the date of the fire. <br />Decision: I hereby find that the uses for the above structure are recognized as legal <br />non-conforming and meet the City of Everett Zoning Code in effect at the time of <br />construction. This certification is subject to revocation if it is found that the informatian <br />upon which this decision was based is erroneous. The appli�ant is still responsible for <br />determining whether there are any additional City, State, or Federal permit requirements <br />for any proposed building construction or remodel on site. <br />�i , , ) --=--- ��-%« 9� <br />�� � " � January 21, 2003 <br />� Paul A.
