The building is an attractive nuisance to inquisitive minors in the <br />neighborhood. <br />II. The Building Gfficial has found the building on the above described property <br />may endanges• the life, health, property or safety of the public azid is rendered <br />` dangerous pursuant to the provisions of the Abatement of Dangerous Buildings <br />'� Caie; Sec. 302, noting the following: <br />I. The building exists in violation of specific req�irements applicabie to <br />such buildings provided by the building regulations of this jurisdiction, <br />as specified in the Building Code and Housing Code as adopted by <br />Ordinance of this jurisdiction relating to the condition of buildings. <br />2. The building has become an attractive nuisance tu children and a harbor <br />for vagrants. <br />The building is in such a conciition as to constitute a public nuisance <br />known to the common law or in equity jurisprudence. <br />III. The above-desc..,bed building shall either be repaired in accordance with all <br />current Building Code requirements and all other applicaUle codes or <br />demolished. <br />IV. If the owner elects to repair the building in accordance with the current Building <br />Code requirements, all required perm�ts must be secured therefore, and the <br />work physically commenced within sixty (60) days of the date of this Order. <br />All work must be completed within ninety (90) days of the date of this Order. <br />V. If the owner elects to demolish the building, all requirerl permits shall be <br />secured therefore within thirty (30) days of thP date of this order. Such <br />demolition must be completed within sixty (60) aays from the date of this <br />Order. <br />VI. Since the building is uninhabitable in i[s present condition, it shall be kept <br />secured from unauthorized entry and remain vacant until such time as the <br />building is repaired in accordance with the current Building Code or <br />demolished. <br />VII. If the requirements set forth in Paragraphs IV, V and VI above are not complied <br />with, the City of Everett will order the building to remain ��acated and proceed <br />to cause the building to be demolished and charge the costs thereof against the <br />property and/or its owner. <br />VIII. Any person having any record title or legal interest in the building may appeal <br />from this Notice and Order to the Housing Adviscy and Appeais Board. Such <br />appeal must be in writing as is required in the Uniform Housing Code and tilrrl <br />with the �ity of Everett Building Official within thirty (30) days from the date <br />of service af this Notice and Order.
