The <br />Uniform Building Code provides that all permiu expire by limitation if the work authorized by the <br />pemut is suspended or abandoned at any time after work is commenced for a period of 180 days. If <br />you wish to prevent the pemuu from expiring without docucnentation of compleaon, you may: <br />1) Request inspecrions of work that has occurred, to document continuing progress, <br />or 2) Request final inspections of the work chat is completed, <br />or 3) Submit a written request for a 180 day extension. <br />Please provide the permit number when requesting inspections or extensions. Please respond within <br />10 days. After that time the file will be sent to our Records Deparr_ment for microfilming wiChout <br />final approval.
