I have attached a drawing that indicates the acceptable layout of the sewer extension for future sewer connection to your house. The layout shown is necessary in order to meet City standards and provide for possible future extension of the sewer system. I have reviewed the sewer code as it relates to the billing of sewer service charges. Since the City is not allowing a connection to the north and is requiring an extension of the existing system, we will consider that the sewer is not readily available for hook-up at this time, Therefore we will ciiscontinue billing for sewer service. Additionally, City policy allows for reimbursement of charges you have made over the past year in the amount of �588.86. An additional amount of $1834.91 shall be left available to be credited toward any sewer connection charges as needed for future connection to the sewer system. Please understand that any actual work to be done by a contractor or yourself for extension of the sewer main and side sewer is at the expense of the home owner and requires a permit from the City of Everett.
