Gordon Witcher
From: Dave Voigt
Sent: Wednesday, May 01, 2013 3 35 PM
To: Gordon Witcher
Subject PR10E- stormwater ponds
Gordon,
The meeting today with Patrick and Mike G. helped to darify some of the design questiom I had.
Our discussions revealed some potential minor changes that would allow them to do better/easier maintenance to
remove debris and grit from the system, to modify the restrictor sizing and revise the overflow strategy.
The proposed extra facilities to add the CUP runoff to ihe ponds needs some additional evaluation to confirm it
can/should be done:
1) That the nearby fuel tanks are not an obstacle for the needed pipe run, and
2) 7here is a workable mechanism for the City to compensate PRMCE for the engineering and construction and the
cost is reasonable.
I intend to approve the plans as submitted today so they can proceed with ihe project.
Patrick will explore the situation for item 1) above and I will need Paul MCKee's assistance with item 2).
Dave
David Voigt.
