Section 4.L I3 of the Master Plan states Uiat design review committee will <br /> provide comment to the Planning Director concerning compliancc with Institutional <br /> Overlay design guidclines and development :tandards as eaclt phase is reviewed. <br /> l3. Pror�osed proiect: 'Che proposed project is a 24,024 square foot utiliry <br /> building. 'Che major components within the building would inc!ude: a) an eight- <br /> megawltt emergency gen�rator plant; b) a 3,530 ton chiller plant; c) cooling towers <br /> anc! pumps, d) a boiler plan[ with opera[ion capncity of 92,150 MBh (thousand <br /> [3tu/hour); and, e) an outdoor medical gas (oxygen) storage facility with prirrary and <br /> standby tanks. <br /> Additional improvements would include underground utilities connecting the utiliry <br /> building to the new hospital tower (presendy under construction), parking for 25 <br /> vehicles and completion of a 35' landscape buffer along the �vest, north and easterly <br /> property lines. An existing -l0,000 square foot college field house building and a 3,200 <br /> square foot mainten�mce building �vould be demolished and approximately 128 existing <br /> parking stalls associated with the co(lege field house would be eliminated. <br /> 'I'his design decision addresses the design of the proposed utility buildi�g and related <br /> site improvements, such as the parking lot and landscaping surrounding the building <br /> and parking lot. A separate design decision or decisions will Ue issued for the 35 foot <br /> widc perimcter landscape buffer, site and building lig6ting, and any signs that may be <br /> proposed in com�ection witli the utility bailding.
