4 V <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 4255 <br /> A RESOLUTION declaring a free fare day on the Everett Transit bus system. <br /> WHEREAS,the American Public Transit Association has declared the week of May 13, <br /> 1996, as Transit Appreciation Week; and <br /> WHEREAS,transit agencies across the nation will participate in the recognition of its <br /> employees and patrons; and <br /> WHEREAS, Everett Transit wishes to promote the use of public transit to the general <br /> public by offering one day of free fare; and <br /> WHEREAS, Everett Transit wishes to coordinate one day of free fare with other transit <br /> agencies; <br /> NOW,THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE <br /> CITY OF EVERETT THAT: <br /> Tuesday, May 14, 1996, shall be designated as Free Fare Day on the Everett Transit bus <br /> system. <br /> eeg a• <br /> , ; <br /> Councilperson Introducing Resolution <br /> Passed and approved this 17th day of April , 1996. <br /> / <br /> 4 .' . - ,L2 <br /> Council President <br />
