Description of Work: Partialh� divert cxisting storm�vater from P'ishcrmen's Eioat Shop out(low that emptics into the 14°i Strcet Yacht Basin (Uie "ras ou�no��) into the City of Gverett Saaitary Sc�vcr system. This project is suUjcct to an approvcd Shoreline Managemcnt Act Pcnnit (No. 98-006). Work has commenced under the first phase of this project by tying roof drains into the PQS Outllow as perniittcd by the abovc SMA Pcrmit. Industrial discharges will not be included in thc discharges to the sanitary sewer. Wastcwatcr rciated to Uie PI3S boat wash will not bc sent to tlic sanitary sewcr system and will continuc to bc hauled away by a ccrtificd wastc disposal cotnpany. Thc dischargcs to thc sanitary scwer systcm will consist of stormwatcr flowing primarily Gom thc FBS boat and equipmcnt storagc arca. Maximum flow to thc sanitary scwcr will bc 0.11 cfs, an amount equal to thc Port of LvcretCs rcmaining unuscd capaciry cntiticmcnt (bascd on the Port of Lvcre�t financcd cnhanccmcnts to Lift Slation No. 7). Thc Port of Everctt h�as grantcd PBS permission to use this unuscd capacity. The connection to the sanitary se�vcr�vill be sized accordingly so thc maximum dischargc is 0.1 lcfs and all amounts in cxcess of such amount will Uc divcrtcd to thc existing FBS Outflow. Work will consist of thc following: l. Digging as neccssary to instail a STC 1200 Precast Concrete Stormccptor as idcntificd on thc finnl pagc of thc attached cnginccring rcport, and thc rclatcd catch basin and cmcracncy shut-off; 2. Trenching as nccessary to lay G' PVC pipe to sanitary scwer system in accordancc with City of Gvcrctt, Typical Trcnch Section diagram (No. 610) as includcd in lhe attachcd cnginecring report and Stonn Drainage Plan; 3. Bedding for pipe in accordance with City of Everett Bcdding for Pipe in Trcnches diagram (No. 611) as includcd in the attached enginecring rcport and Stor.:: Drainagc Plan; and 4. Conncction to sanitary sewer system, manhole in accordance with City of 6vcrett Duct Iron Drop Conncction diagram (No. 608) as included in thc attachcd cnginccring report and Storm Drainagc Plan. ; 'Phc size of thc limiting orifice will Ue as specified by the City of Gverett, Public �Norks, as necessary to limit maximum flow to 0.11. Notc that thc attached engineering report assumes a largcr flo�� based on the then available exccss capacity available to thc Port of Everett (a smaller amount is now available). Note also that a Parshall Flume Flow Monitor will bc cxcluded at this stage bccausc applicant will replace it with the limiting orifice that will precludc excess stormwater Ilows. �
