In reviewing the subsidized apartment building serving low to <br /> moderate income persons, and handicapped $ elderly persons, the <br /> proposed site plan does not outline what form of recreational, indoor <br /> facilities are provided. <br /> 2. The proposed pr�ject does not provide any outside passive or active <br /> recreational opportunities and has not defined the open-space areas <br /> tliat these residents would use. <br /> 3. This project lies within the Silver Lake drainage corridor; and given <br /> the geotechnical infonnation, I am not certain there are not wetlands <br /> on the site. Perhaps an environmental assessment of the soils should <br /> be conducted to make sure we are not dealing with a ground-water <br /> recharge area. You should check this information with Dan bfathias of <br /> Utilities. <br /> 4. T1te Parks Department would like to review the landscaping plan that <br /> did not come with the index of the proposed project drawings. <br /> If you could provide the intonnation requested, the Parks Departemnt could <br /> comment formally on this application. 1Ve would be willing to assist this <br /> person in developing this project, however, we do need to have these questions <br /> answered. <br /> If you have any question or cormnents, call me at 0300.
