The City - <br />owned pond is not providing any water quality treatment. The 3rd Avenue SE Detention Pond Retrofit will <br />update the existing system to provide water quality treatment. <br />The Ecology Grant Agreement provides 75% of the total project costs in grant funding and requires a local <br />25% match. The total project cost estimate is $476,696, with Ecology funding $357,522 through the original <br />agreement. The required local match remains at $119,174. <br />RECOMMENDATION: Authorize the Mayor to sign Amendment No. 1 to 2012 State Ston-Awater Grant <br />Agreement No. G1200574 with the Washington State Department of Ecology for a time extension to October <br />31, 2015, at no additional cost to the City <br />79 <br />
