Compliance efforts have been frustreted and unproductive, we require and request your assistance. 1. On 9/08/ 2011 we posted a stop work order at 3414 16'�' St. for work being performed without required permits. This work includes but may not be limited to: Front porch repair/replacement, Electrical work, Plumbing and Interior alterations. 2. The owner did initially respond to our stop work order and submitted an application for permits on 10/4/2011. 3. The application for permits was reviewed, a Plan Review correction letter was sent to the applicant with a number of corrections and additional requirements in order for the permit to be processed and issued. This letter was sent on 3/7/2012 4. We have not had a response from the applicant since the plan review correction letter was sent. The failure of the applicai�t to respond fias exceeded the 180 day period required by the IRC, (section R705.3.2) for the appli, ation to remain valid. The application for required �.ermits is now deemed abandoned. 5. Tlie building ir its current condition is defined by the IPMC as an Unlawful Structure. The structure is vacant and should remain so until the required corrections have been made and approvals have been granted. P!ease start enforcement action on this case as your schedule al!ows.
