Section 303(b) of the Uniform <br />Buildinq Code provides that permits expire by limitation and become null and <br />void if work authorized by dia permit is suspended or does not conunence for a <br />period of 180 days. The Code also requires final inspection prior to <br />occupancy for all permits issued, and it is the responsibility of the permit <br />holder to call for the necessary inspections. <br />If you wish to recommence work you may renew your permit nt no cost for an <br />additionai 180 day period Uy submitting a written reauest to this office. The <br />renewal request must reach us by April 25, 1991. If the work has been <br />completed, you may call for a final inspection before April 25, 1991. Permits <br />that have been neither finaled nor extended by April 25, 1991, will be <br />retired.
