The Planning Director is authorized Co designate front, rear and <br />side setbacks in accordance with tt.e definitiona of Section 4. I= <br />these definitions do not establish n front and rear setback, the <br />Plannir.g Director shall establish these setbacks based upon <br />orientation of the lot to surrounding lota and to any exicting <br />development pattern. All other setbacks will be definzd in <br />relation to the established front and rear setback. <br />39.160 Rooftop Appurtenances, L,equired Screeoiag• Vents, mechaaical <br />penthouses, e evator equipment and similar appurtenances that extend above <br />the roofline shall be landscaped or architecturally screened, except for rod <br />and wire antennas and dish antennas approved pursuant to 39.040. The height <br />of the screening must be at least ae high as the rooftop appurtenances. <br />Screening shall consist of materials similar to those used for the huilding <br />facade. <br />39.I70 Vehicles, Storage in Reaidential Zoues. <br />A. Recreational vehicles, campera, travel Lrailers and large boats may be <br />stored in a side or rear setback area on residential lots upon r+hich a <br />principal dwelling is located, provided that such vehicle 1s owned by <br />the owner or resident of the dwelling. <br />B. Vehicles over ten thousand (10,000) pounds gross vehicle weight which <br />are not speclfically mentioned in Paragraph A. of this Subsection shall <br />not be parked or stored on residentially zoned lots. <br />!��' C. No vehicle shall be parked or stored on nny lot in such a manner that it <br />�„�I) obstructs the vision of drivers entering a street from a private <br />driveuay to the extent that it causes a safe[y hazard for vehicular and <br />pedestrian traffic. <br />39.180 Vision Clearance, Coruer Site. All corner building sites located in <br />use districts that require a Eront and side yard shall maintain a clear <br />triangle at the interaection of the street and/or alley rights-of-cray for <br />the purpose of traffic safety. No building, structure, object or groNth <br />over thirty-sia (36) inches in height, measured from the mean grade of the <br />intersecting streets, shall be allowed within this triangle. <br />One angle of this triangle ehall be formed by the intersecting stcieet <br />rights-of-way and the sides of the triaugle meusured aloqg the property <br />lines from eaid angle shall be fifteen (15) feet in length; the third side <br />of such triangle shall be a straight line connecting t?�e ends of the two (2) <br />aforementioned lines. <br />39-11 <br />.` '�... . .. <br />� '-.�,:.. <br />
