At a minimum, thc faciliues shall be inspected �veekly and alter any <br />runoit-producing rain event or daily during prolonged rainfall. Routine inspections shall take <br />placc at the cnd of each work wcek and any needed repairs be completed before the job is shut <br />down for the wcekend. Rcpairs to TESC measures damaged by storm events shall take place <br />prior to other site work. TESC inspections shall continue at these intervals during periods of <br />work stoppages or until permanent cover has been established. <br />l. Filter Fabric Fencing: Sedimen[ should be removed when it maches l/3 the height of thc <br />fcnce. <br />2. Storm Drainage Inlet Protection: Remove and replace cloegcd filter fabiic without allowing <br />scdimcnt to entcr the storm drainage system. <br />3. Drainagc Swales: Remove sedimcnt accumulations whcn they havc reached 6" in dcptli or <br />1/2 the denth of thc channel, ���hich evcr is smaller. <br />-I. Straw Bale Checkdams: If necessary strawbale check dams �vill �e used on this site. Inspect <br />checkdams aftcr each stonn and daily during wntinuing storm events for damage to the straw <br />bales, undercutting and ovcrtopping. Repair any dcticicncics immediately. Removc scdiment <br />.iccumulations before thcy reach 1/2 the hcight of the straw bale. <br />�. Thc sedimentation pond should be cicaned of Uuilt up scdiment as required. <br />STORA�I DI2AIN SYSTG�9 NIAIN7'ENANCE <br />Catch basins should be inspected annually and cleancd as necessary including rcmoval of <br />sediment buildup whcn it reaches a depth of 1/Z of the sump depth. <br />The paved areas should be periodically s�vcpt to remove sediment and debris. <br />After construction has been completed and the site is stabilized there should be a minima� <br />amount of maintenance required for the detention facility. The catch basin sumps will remove <br />most debris before it enters the vault. However periodic inspection of the vault for debris or <br />sediment build up would bc rccommended.
