Section 303(b) of the Uniform <br />Building Code provides that permits expire by limitation and become null and <br />void if work authorized by the permit.is suspended or does not commence for a <br />period of 180 days. The Code also requires final inspection prior to <br />occupancy for all permits issued, and it is the responsibility of the permit <br />holder to call for the necessarj inspections. <br />If you wish to recommence work you may renew your permit at no cost for an <br />additional 180 day period by submitting a written request to this office. The <br />renewal request must reach us by April 25, 1991. If the work has been <br />completed, you may call for a final inspection before April 25, 1991. Permits <br />that have been neither finaled nor extended by April 25, 1991, will be <br />retired. Renewing the permit or obtaining an inspection will thereafter <br />require the payment of a fee. <br />You may mail or deliver written requests to our office at 3200 Cedar Street, <br />Everett, Washington 98201.
