RESOLUTION No. <br /> A Resolution declaring the listed vehicles and equipment surplus and <br /> authorizing their disposition. <br /> Whereas,the Washington State Criminal Justice Training Commission <br /> (WSCJTC)has requested donation of surplus police vehicles for Police <br /> Academy training; and <br /> Whereas,the City currently has the following vehicles in its fleet: P0156, <br /> a 2000 Ford Crown Victoria Police Interceptor; P0174, a 2001 Ford <br /> Crown Victoria Police Interceptor; and <br /> Whereas,the above-referenced vehicles are no longer of value or use to <br /> the City and would best serve the City's and the public's interest as <br /> training vehicles for Police Officers; and <br /> Whereas, Ordinance 2963-06 establishes a procedure and methods for <br /> surplusing or disposition of City-owned personal property; and <br /> Whereas,based on the guidelines set forth in Section 2 of Ordinance <br /> 2963-06, donation is the disposition method that best meets the City's <br /> interests; and <br /> Whereas,the City's purchasing manager has reported the basis for the <br /> estimated value of the surplus property and has recommended surplusing <br /> the above-referenced vehicles and equipment by donation to the <br /> WSCJTC. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, it is hereby resolved by the City Council of <br /> the City of Everett: <br /> The vehicles and equipment numbered P0156 and P0174 are no longer <br /> of value or use to the City; and therefore, are declared surplus personal <br /> property; and <br /> 2.
