Create a new bid item entitled,"Installation <br /> of 240 LF of 48" Steel Waterline", at the lump sum price of$341,500.00.Attached Drawings labeled <br /> Replacement of Water Transmission Line 2—Phase 6A includes all work that will be performed for <br /> the mentioned Lump sum price. <br /> Therefore the overall net result of added bid item results in a 341,500.00 increase to the contract. <br /> This results in a cost increase to the contract. <br /> Exhibit B—Justification: <br /> New Bid Items <br /> Item#55-Installation of 240 LF of 48" Steel Waterline.This bid item is being created to pay for <br /> additional work for the Replacement of Water Transmission Line 2—Phase 6A. Snohomish County is <br /> widening 20th Street S.E. and the City.of Everett's TL#2 is scheduled to be replaced at a later date. <br /> The installation of this 240 LF of water transmission line will reduce the impact to the surrounding <br /> community and will eliminate the need to tear-up and repave a newly improved intersection by <br /> installing the 240 LF now. <br /> Exhibit C—Additional Contract Time <br /> There will be no additional working days added as a result of this change order. <br /> Page 3 of 3 <br />
